A top-down sock in aran weight yarn – quick to knit and very cosy. A simple slip-stitch pattern is used to break up the stripes slightly in the self-striping yarn, and give a netted effect in the “Spiderman” two-colour version.

The aran version of this pattern is made available via The Sheep Shop with a purchase of WYS or other suitable aran-weight yarn. I will be making a paid-for version of the pattern for sock-weight yarn available in August, which will also contain stitch-counts for the aran version.

Foot circumference as written is 20 cm (8-9””), which fits a range of adult feet. The pattern has some stretch.
