This hat is made in the round where single crochet stitch is used and joined traditionally where other stitches are used. Hat is worked bottom up. Measure your head in order to get the right fit. This hat will be a snug fit for a 23in circumference head. Feel free to send in comments, as I have never made a pattern before. Enjoy!

Edit: I’ve been reading a lot of comments that this ends up too tight, so I am starting to think I either tend to crochet loosely or I have a small head. If you are a tight crocheter, please add a few more stitches (in multiples of 2) to compensate for the difference in crocheting style.
