Smile Shawlette is so easy it will make you smile. It’s a top down, garter stitch (no purl!), half circle shawl.

Make one in light fingering weight wool (375-400 yards) and size 7 needles with a pointy border that is blocked to 51” at the top x 23” long or two unblocked versions in Red Heart Shimmer (280 yards) on size 8 needles and Patons Lace (498 yards) on size 6 needles. They make great gifts! The general instructions can be used to make any size shawl you want with whatever weight of yarn and needles you choose.
