So I like to crochet, I like to design, but have no clue what sort of yarn, what gauge, what other technical lingo is used.

Smurfs are everywhere! Now Smurfs 2 is out, you see the little blue men and woman everywhere.. So I can’t stay behind.

This pattern is in English and is worked in US crochet terms.

This pattern is for 3 sizes: Child 4-10yrs old, Teen, Adult

Yarn:
For hat: Sport, DK or Worsted colors White and Blue
For eyes: Fingering in colors White, Blue (a slight different Blue), Black

Hook Needle 2.5mm, 3mm, 4mm, 5mm

Yarn needle, to weave in ends

Stuffing for the white hat

Abbreviations:
ch – chain
st - stitch
SLST - slip stitch
SC - Single Crochet
SCDEC - Single Crochet Decrease
HDC - Half Double Crochet
HDCDEC - Half Double Crochet Decrease
