Snail tea cosy
This pattern is knitted in the round on double-pointed needles.
The pattern itself is easy and requires only stocking stitch, reducing by knitting 2 stitches together and i-cord.
The following items are required to complete the pattern:
Yarn: Chunky or double DK (50g suitable colour for shell, plus remnant of contrasting colour for line)
DK remnants of white, black and beige
Other materials: Small amount of filling (for eyes)
2 pipe cleaners
Needles: Dpn (Double pointed needles) in 6 mm and 3.5 mm
Darning needle, stitch holder, possible crochet hook
The eyes are sewn to lengths of i-cord into which a pipe cleaner has been inserted.
Use your imagination and adapt this pattern as you like!
HAVE FUN!
