Snowfall is a two color winter motive beanie.
It has a two color ribbing, a little snow ornament border pattern, followed by big fir trees surrounded by falling snow…
The pattern changes color going upwards. Ending in a lovely star like pattern at the top!
I think it’s the most lovely top I’ve made so far! And was surprised myself how it turned out.

It’s knitted with 4-ply Acrylic yarn (Buttinette Versailles 214 yards/50g) but you can use anything similar (Merino or even soft 4-ply sock yarn).

For the bigger sizes you will need about 35 g per color.
Three sizes are included.

It will also look lovely in other color variations (dark red and white or black and white).
As there are only two colors used throughout the whole beanie it is also suitable for fair isle knitting beginners.

The smallest size leaves out the small snowflakes border at the bottom otherwise it would become too long.

Schneefall ist eine durchgängig zweifarbige Wintermotivmütze.
Sie hat einen zweifarbigen Bund, eine kleine Schneeflockenbordüre, gefolgt von großen schneeberieselten Tannenbäumen.
Im oberen Teil der Mütze wechseln Haupt- und Hintergrundfarbe. Obendrauf ist wohl mein bisher schönstes Abschlußmuster. Ich war selbst überrascht!

Ich habe die Mütze aus 4-fach Buttinette Versailles Acrylgarn gestrickt (Royal und weiß).
Man braucht ca. 35 g jeder Farbe für die größeren Mützen.
Ihr könnt aber auch jedes andere ähnlich dicke Garn verwenden (4-fach Merino oder auch 4-fach Sockenwolle)
Es sind drei Größenangaben enthalten.

Die kleinste Größe verzichtet übrigens auf die kleine Schneebordüre, sonst würde sie zu lang werden.

Da die Mütze durchgängig zweifarbig ist, ist das Muster auch für Fair Isle (Mehrfarbenstricker)- Anfänger geeignet.
