This “Monkey Lovie” Blanket/Toy is a practical and versatile gift for any new baby! The size included in the pattern is perfect for tucking around baby in a car seat and the monkey head can keep baby entertained during the ride!

The blanket is easily sized up or down depending on your needs.

Materials Needed for two examples shown:

Medium Worsted Weight (#4) Yarn
(Brown example is made with Vanna’s Choice 100% acrylic yarn, Chocolate, and Red Heart Brand 100% acrylic yarn, Aran & Claret.
Grey example is made with Red Heart 100% acrylic yarn, Grey Heather, White & Cherry Red.)
Black Felt (for eyes) • Black thread • Yarn needle • Fiberfill
(Optional) 1/2 yard of flannel fabric & a package of satin blanket binding
