Kristeen describes Sophia “as the first garment I constructed with a newfound seamless method, this Chanel-style jacket came to represent a peaceful revolution for me. I wanted to realign the normally horizontal classic stitch pattern called Roman Stripe in a body-enhancing manner yet also keep the sense of a single piece throughout the garment. Nubby wool/cotton organic yarn works against type here. It has just enough body to maintain structure, yet it has a soft hand when knitted and blocked.”

The new photos show (from top to bottom):
1) An alternative to the crochet cast on for the side seam: invisible provisional cast on using an interchangeable needle cable as “waste yarn”)--video tutorial is in the works!
2) Joined side seam using the crochet cast on as detailed in the book, showing “laddering” of join stitches when cast on is removed (pink yarn)
3) Tightening up loose yarn to complete the side seams.
