Speckle Tonic
Speckle Tonic is a pretty crescent shawl with easy lace, designed to make the most of that special skein of speckle yarn in your stash. I have paired it with a matching semi-solid to work the majority of the lace sections.
The pattern is easily adjusted to make a smaller or larger shawl and instructions are given to do this.
August 2017
Speckle Tonic is now available in French. (Many thanks to Marie-Line from Purple-laines for the translation) This is an additional download as part of this pattern pack. Enjoy
February 2017 update
Speckle Tonic now comes as a triangle as well!
If you have already purchased the pattern you should now also be able to download the new triangular version from within your Ravelry library.
Yarn
Colour 1: Circus Tonic White Browed Woodswallow (pale speckle) 267 m (292 yards)
Colour 2: Circus Tonic Spangled Drongo (blue-grey) 374 m (409 yards)
Note on Yardage
Please note that many of my testers used 12% more of Colour 2 - the semi-solid (illustrated here in blue) than I did. This means they used approx 420 metres of yarn to my 374 metres. If you do not have an extra skein of C2 available or are worried about running out of yarn, follow the instructions near the beginning of page 3 for working a slightly smalller shawl, with fewer initial stocking stitch rows.
