Spider Lace Summer Hat
Errors corrected in most recent version of the PDF.
This light and airy hat is perfect for spring or summer. The pattern is versatile and can be made more or less slouchy according to your preference. The yellow sample is a size large, moderately slouchy, made in a hemp and cotton blend yarn. I used 218 yards of the yarn.
The blue sample is size medium, less slouchy, knit in a scrumptious baby alpaca DK weight yarn, making it more appropriate for fall. I used about 100 yards for this smaller hat. Yardage will vary depending on degree of slouchiness desired.
This project calls for a provisional cast on. The easiest method I’ve come across is described here at Knitty.com
