Spruce Shrug
This pattern is
available for free.
This little sweater is short and sweet! It covers the shoulders and the arms can be made as long as you want them to be. Because of the cropped length and only one button at the top, it’s great for wearing over dresses or other a-line clothing.
Simple raglan construction using YO increases, which mirrors the decorative lace details at the bottom edge of the sweater. Body is knitted flat, sleeves are then knitted in the round.
So far I am offering it in one size. It fits my slim, 2 year old daughter with room to grow but I am getting feedback that people are finding it larger than they expected. You can try going down a needle size or decrease the number of cast-on sts by 8 (consider this to be 8 sts fewer in the centre back).
