This simple and striking colorwork hat in multiple sizes is a fabulous opportunity to play with colors and textures, use up extra little balls of yarn, and enjoy a lovely hat when you’re done.

Yarn: worsted weight wool, brim color 45-75 yds (41-69 m), second and third color 45-60 yds (41-55m)

Needles: size 7 US (4.5 mm) 16 in. (40.6 cm) circular and a set of dpns of the same size, or whatever needles you need to get gauge

Gauge: 22 st/4 in. (10 cm)

Sizes: S – fits 16-17 in. (40.6-43.2 cm) head (M – fits 18-19 in. (45.7-48.3 cm) head, L – fits 20-21 in. (50.8-53.3 cm) head, XL – fits 22-23 in. (55.9-58.4 cm) head)

NOTE: This hat runs big - on purpose. I liked the XL on my 22 in. head, so sized accordingly. If you want a fitted hat, go down a size. The L also fit me fine.
