Squeaky Bugs are made to just fit the medium replacement squeakers for pet toys which are 1 3/4”. The finished toy is about 3” and are perfect to entertain smaller to medium sized dogs Or cats. You can also omit the squeaker and use fiber fill stuffing, scraps of fleece or even a little cat nip.

You will need about 5 or 6 grams of worsted weight yarn in 2 contrasting colors plus a little extra for stitching on added details like spots and eyes to your bug. You can also use safety eyes.
