Starflower Hexagon
These hexagons can be worked in pretty much any yarn weight with the appropriate hook size; they’re pretty good for using up small balls of yarn left over after a larger project. I specifically designed the ‘petal’ rounds to make the most of variegated yarn with short color sequences, although they can be crocheted in solid yarn, too.
The pattern itself is both written and charted so that you can use either; I’ve included four formats in the downloads:
-
US crochet terminology with color-coded instructions
-
UK crochet terminology with color-coded instructions
-
US crochet terminology with black-and-white instructions
-
UK crochet terminology with black-and-white instructions
Feel free to send me a message if you find anything wrong with or unclear about the pattern - I try not to be more confusing than helpful.
Pattern updates:
- October 31, 2010: Fixed an error in the written instructions for Round 8.
