“Starry” was a word which had been echoing in my mind for quite some time… Isn’t it a perfect theme for a Christmas pullover? And the word has led me to this pullover worked in a lovely stitch which evokes scintillation of stars, enhanced by the sparkles of the beads - added one by one… A project a little bit crazy but the result is worth the effort, isn’t it?
Lovely, festive yet elegant, Starry is the perfect Christmas pullover and your little one will love it for sure!

SIZES: 2Y (4Y, 6Y, 8Y, 10Y, 12Y)
Finished Chest circumference: 56 (60, 66, 70, 75, 80) cm / 22 (23.5, 26, 27.5, 29.5, 31.5)” - ease is included (standard measurements ± 5 cm/ 2”).

MATERIALS
YARN: 300 (350, 395, 465, 540, 635) m / 330 (385, 440, 510, 590, 695) yds of fingering or light sport weight yarn
NEEDLES: 3.5 mm / US 4 (Front) and 3.25 mm / US 3 (Back) straight or circular needles, 3 mm / US 2½ circular or double-pointed needles (border)
NOTIONS: darning needle, waste yarn or 2 stitch-holders
2Y & 4Y: 1 button (10 mm/⅜”)

OPTION

• 390 (465, 555, 650, 740, 865) Size 8/0 (3 mm) seed beads (my knitters used 6/0 (4 mm) seed beads and are happy with the result!)
• 0.9 (or 0.75) mm/ US 13 crochet hook or beading wire (0.4 mm or smaller)

GAUGE

• 26 sts x 40 rows over 10 cm²/4” in Quilted Lattice stitch with 3.5 mm / US 4 needle, blocked
• 26 sts x 33 rows over 10 cm²/4” in Stockinette stitch with 3.25 mm / US 3 needle, blocked
• 23 sts over 10 cm/4” in Garter stitch with 3 mm / US 2½ needle

NOTE: Beading is optional (photo tutorial is provided in the pattern). The Quilted lattice stitch looks nice without beads!
This pattern requires patience, courage, time (and love) and is suited for intermediate knitters.

Starry - étoilé - était un mot qui résonnait dans ma tête depuis un moment… N’est-ce pas un thème parfait pour un pull de Noël ? Et le mot m’a guidé jusqu’à ce pull tricoté avec un point qui évoque les scintillements d’étoiles, rehaussés de l’éclat des perles ajoutées une par une… Un projet un peu fou, mais le résultat en vaut la peine, n’est-ce pas ?
Festif, étincelant et élégant, Starry est le pull de Noël par excellence, qui plaira à coup sûr aux petites filles (et à leurs mamans et mamies) !

• crochet 0.9 (ou 0.75) mm OU fil à perles en métal (φ 0.4 mm et moins)

ÉCHANTILLON après blocage

• 26 m x 40 rgs = 10 cm x 10 cm au point de treillis en n° 3,5, bloqué
• 26 m x 33 rgs = 10 cm x 10 cm en jersey endroit en n° 3,25, bloqué
• 23 m = 10 cm au point mousse en n° 3

NOTE : L’ajout de perles est optionnel (tutoriel en photo est fourni dans le modèle) - le point est joli sans !
