This is my basic sock pattern. This pattern is easy to adjust for size as well as a good base for adding embellishments (cables, lace, colourwork etc). The main characteristic of this pattern is my heel - I do a variation on a wrapped short row heel, and the result is very similar to what you’d get with a circular sock knitting machine.

As it was designed for a class with hands on help, the pattern is pretty basic, but still quite clear. You will need to look up the cast on and cast off if you’re unfamiliar with those techniques.
