Materials:

Lots of yarn oddments in reds & various shades of green, a little yellow & white for flowers in a dk mercerized cotton

Needles to compliment yarn weights in straights & double points for large leaves

4mm crochet hook for flowers

6mm x 60cm circular needle & 6mm DPNs for basket lining

Toy stuffing

A hanging basket approx. 12” wide (30cm)

Floristry wire – approx 3 yards (2.75m)

Glue gun & plenty of glue sticks!

Note:

There is no set tension, the majority of yarns used were DK, but some 4ply & chunky were used too, varying needle sizes as recommended by yarn tension. Not sticking to a set yarn made the basket more interesting, strawberries & leaves of all shapes and sizes, just like Mother Nature intended!
