Das Dreieckstuch Sturmmöwe sieht auf den ersten Blick aus, als wäre es aus der Mitte heraus in der Runde gestrickt - tatsächlich wird es aber ganz entspannt in Reihen hin und her gestrickt: Rechte Maschen, ahoi!
Das Tuch bringt jedes handgefärbte Multi-Color-Garn richtig schön zum Leuchten - ganz unabhängig davon, mit welcher Technik es gefärbt wurde. Der I-Cord-Rand bildet dazu den krönenden Abschluss und das bunte Garn kann noch einmal zeigen, welche tollen Farben es hat.

Die Form erinnert mich an eine fliegende Möwe - wie man
sie überall an der Ostseeküste sieht: Diese spezielle Form sorgt dafür, dass sich das Tuch besonders gut um den Hals schlingen lässt und dort gut sitzt. Die Größe und das kraus rechts verstrickte, etwas dickere Garn tragen zusätzlich dazu bei, dass mir die stürmische Jahreszeit nichts anhaben kann!
Die Farbgestaltung des eigenen Tuchs lässt viel Raum für Kreativität, denn die besondere Konstruktion setzt jedes Garn in Szene: ob Multi-Color, Uni, mit Farbverlauf oder verschiedene Reste…

Verwendete Techniken: rechte und linke Maschen, kfb, ssk, Maschen aufnehmen (im Foto-Tutorial gezeigt), I-Cord Bind-Off (im Foto-Tutorial gezeigt), den I-Cord zusammennähen (im Foto-Tutorial gezeigt).

At first glance, my triangular shawl Sturmmöwe (English: mew gull) looks as if it was knitted in the round - in fact, it’s garter stitch. easily knitted row by row from the centre where you start: Knit stitches, ahoy!
This shawl is designed to make every handpainted multi-colored yarn shine bright - no matter which technique was used to dye it. To complete the shawl, the I-Cord Bind-Off that is used to create the edging showcases the colorfulness of the handpainted yarn in a unique way.

The shape reminds me of a flying seagull - as you can spot them everywhere along the Baltic coast: This special shape ensures that the shawl is easy to drape and comfortable to wear around the neck.
Both the size and the garter stitch in a heavy fingering yarn
make a cozy, warm shawl - I’m well prepared for stormy autumn and winter!
The color design of your own shawl leaves room for creativity, since the special construction draws attention to all kinds of yarn: multicolored, plain, gradient or various leftovers…
