Pattern for both the fingering and DK weight yarns are included.

This pattern is knit with a center panel with two wing panels.

I give instructions on how to pick up stitches for the wing panels to take full advantage of the icord edge on the center panel.

My shawl measured 103 inches by 17 inches after blocking.

This is charted with enough written instructions to knit using either the written or the charts however I have included full charts to help aid the knitter keep the decreases for the wings in pattern.

if you do not read charts the written portion of the pattern will assume that you will be able to figure out how to do the decrease and keep in pattern on the wings.
