Summer Sun Hat for Girls and Ladies This pattern includes the option for a short brim with wide cuff, a wide brim with short cuff, a hat without any cuff which will give a slight floppy brim. The floppy can be worn folded up with a flower embellishment. Instructions for 2 flowers included, the Primula and loopy flower, as well as a Bow Hat Band and leaves. Stitches need to be on the tighter side.

This pattern works well in a woolly yarn, as well. Make it in autumn or winter colors with a short curved up brim and flower or make just the Bow without the ties and attach to hat band inside of brim for yet another very nice look.

This hat was made with Medium Worsted Weight yarn, Aran Weight for Britain 10 ply for Australia and requires a 4 mm crochet hook. Quite simple to make. If you have made a hat in the round before, you will be able to make this hat easily.
