Sunflower Medallion Beret
Anna Al’s beret-with-a-twist starts in the round from the sunflower medallion crown, progresses through the beautifully textured lacy rise, and finishes with a garter-stitch tied band, worked back and forth.

MATERIALS
• 2 1 3/4oz/50g hanks (each approx 170yd/155m) of Koigu Wool Designs KPPPM (merino wool) in #P319X blues and purples YARN WT = 1
• Two size 3 (3.25mm) circular needles, 16”/40cm long, OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE
• One set (4) size 3 (3.25mm) double-pointed needles (dpns)
• Stitch marker

GAUGE
28 sts and 34 rnds = 4”/10cm over St st using size 3 (3.25mm) needle. TAKE TIME TO CHECK GAUGE.
