Sunshine fingerless mitts
This is a simple pair of fingerless mitts with a lot of versatility. The cuffs are designed to be extra long so you can choose to wear them turned up, or turned down, depending on your style. I chose Fyberspates Vivacious 4ply for this pattern - a good, hardwearing yarn that has a warm and soft finish.
The pattern is named after the colourway - sunshine! This yarn is sold in 100g skeins so you will have plenty remaining after making these mitts. They take well under half the skein.
You can also substitute any 4ply or sock yarn that knits to a similar gauge, but exact gauge is not critical.
The pattern is very straightforward and suitable for beginners. It is knitted in the round, so you will need either dpns or circulars if you prefer to use the magic loop method.
