Your coffee mug needs to be cozy! And super bulky yarn will make you feel cozy as you drink! This quick gift can be completed in a few hours. If you are a new knitter, this easy project can completed in a short amount of time. Also a great project for a class teaching brand new knitters.

Gauge is not important for this project. My knitting yielded 8 st=3”. To make sure it is a width you are happy with, measure your fabric against your coffee mug as you go .

You will need:
Super-bulky yarn (the yarn in the photo is Lions Brand Wool Ease Thick and Quick in Oatmeal). I used leftover yarn from a fingerless glove project to complete one cozy.
Size 13 needles
Darning needle (to weave in the ends)
A 1” button
