This pattern is available for free.

This pattern makes a multi-color, striped baby blanket. Since gauge doesn’t matter, the size may vary from the one I made. You will only need about 4 skeins, 1 for each color (This blanket uses 4 colors. I made mine with white, yellow, light blue, and light pink.)

You will need:

  • 4 skeins of Stitch Studio Storybook Lullaby (1 skein of each of the four colors of your choice)
  • 5.5 mm hook, Susan Bates I hook
  • Tapestry/Yarn needle (to weave in ends)

Since this is a total beginner pattern, it uses no abbreviations, and everything is written out. Some of my other patterns, the ones you have to pay for, use the abbreviations since they are more complex patterns meant for intermediate to experienced crocheters.

When you get to the website, you may have to click on the page that is titled “Patterns”. The pattern should be listed there.
