Supersymmetry is a theory (commonly found in some forms of string theory) that says that when the universe formed, there was also the same number of theoretical “superparticles” created. If this theory is true, it would at least double the number of known particles in the universe. Supersymmetry may create more than one copy, since there are many dimensions.

Supersymmetry in knitting - here the entire shawl is symmetrical - one side has a reverse stockinette base with a stockinette border; the other has a stockinette base with a reverse stockinette border - creating a reverse copy and double the options for wear.

Many dimensions are also likely (you will need scales to weigh your yarn, but it’s really very easy - no complex math involved).

The pattern works well with crazy variegations (if you’re anything like me you probably have lots of them, but never know what to make with them).

You could use any weight from fingering - worsted (maybe even aran) - just be sure to have at least 350m and follow the guidance to knit with loose gauge (if not allow more yarn to get the same size).

The shape is the same as my NoCoBo - no cast on - no bind off, but not a standard sideways knit as I generally find that knitting that way doesn’t produce the type of drape I like).
