Another lightweightdishcloth! This one features big eyelets with linen stitch details for a little bit of a faux-crochet look and quicker drying, plus garter stitch for practical scrubbing.

The size of these should mean that they pair well and store well alongside the previous Swatchcloths.

(I work these in fine yarns/threads held together, but feel free to substitute non-mercerized dk cotton.)

Materials:

  • 270-300 yards Brassard Cotolin (three strands held together), or 90-100 yards dk cotton
  • 1 24” circular needle in US2-3/2.75-3.25mm, or size needed for gauge. (Work is both flat and in the round.)
  • crochet hook for provisional cast-on
  • scrap yarn for provisional cast-on
  • Tapestry needle
  • 4 removable stitch markers

Gauge:
Gauge is 18 sts and 42 rows over 4”/10cm of garter stitch, worked flat and blocked lightly. Please be sure to check your gauge.

Measurements:
At gauge, this cloth measures about 10.5”/27cm square.
