For accessibility, this pattern is available in my etsy shop. Garter stitch is a loom knitter’s friend. It creates a warm, cozy and reversible fabric when knit in super bulky yarn in a large gauge, and it lays flat without a border. The addition of three large buttons lets this wrap act as a cardigan, covering the shoulders and buttoning across the front. The buttons can be used in a traditional fashion or buttoned asymmetrically for a different look. When buttoned, a rolled collar is created completing the sweater shawl look.

Loom: 3/4 inch gauge loom with at least 40 to 42 pegs knitting flat. A 5/8 inch gauge loom may also be used.

Yarn: 620 yards of bulky wool or wool blend yarn; 4 skeins Lion Brand Wool-Ease Thick & Quick in “Brick” used for sample.

This is a beginner pattern.
