I am lucky to knit with the Sweet Stitchin’ Betties, a fabulous crafty group that loves to knit for charity. We present to you our tried and true group project pattern that we have made several times for different organizations. We hope that you and your friends will find this a good project to knit together for a charity that moves you.

This feather and fan blanket is great for a group. Pattern is laid out so multiple people can participate and knit a section and then pass on to the next. Great for charity projects! Gauge is not given since you will have about 9 different knitters working on your blankie :D

The first knitter casts on 154 stitches and knits 6 rows of garter stitch. Then knitter 1 passes the blanket on to knitter 2, and so on.
