The project uses one of the stitch patterns from my signature technique, Switch Craft. If you can make a knit stitch and a single crochet (UK double), you are good to go!

The pattern includes a photo tutorial on how to use the larger crochet hook as an afghan hook, with instructions on Tunisian crochet, So be sure that your larger hook is smooth and straight -- no fancy handles.
