simple short rows (you wrap & turn, but you don’t pick up wraps on the way back as they nestle into the ribbing & disappear).

add the simple shorts to early back crown decreases, & you get a slouch that hugs in the front & doesn’t overpower in the back.

note: a single skein of ‘suri delight’ will make 1 ‘szlak’ and 1 ‘szlakow’ or 2 hats total of either pattern in either size.
