Tanagra is a circular yoke pullover and cardigan pattern.
A textured pattern with incorporated increases emphasizes the yoke. The rest of the pullover/cardigan is knit in plain stockinette as to not distract from the pattern. Twist stitch details along the sides and at the ribbing finish this project beautifully.

This pattern includes two different pdf-files, one for the pullover and one for the cardigan.

For the cardigan the yoke pattern is knit in right and wrong side rows. You should be fairly familiar with M1Lp and M1Rp increases. If you like to avoid knitting a pattern on the wrong side you might want to consider knitting the pullover.

A note on yardage: The cardigan needs a little more yarn than the pullover due to the buttonband and the pattern alongside it. Our red sample is a size M2 and used 3 skeins with only little to spare. If you want to make sure you don’t run out of yarn we recommend getting 4 skeins.

Tanagra ist ein Pullover bzw. eine Jacke mit einer Rundpasse, die jeweils von oben nach unten gestrickt werden.
Das Strukturmuster der Passe macht Tanagra zu etwas ganz Besonderem. Die Zunahmen werden im Muster gearbeitet, sodass dieses nach unten hin weiter wird. Der restliche Pullover bzw. die Jacke werden glatt rechts gestrickt. Ein kleines Muster entlang der Seite sowie Bündchen mit verschränkten Maschen bilden einen schönen Abschluss.

Die Anleitung beinhaltet zwei Pdf-Dateien, eine für den Pullover und eine für die Jacke.

Bei der Jacke wird das Muster in Hin- und Rückreihen gestrickt, deshalb ist die Jacke etwas aufwendiger zu stricken als der Pullover. In den Rückreihen wird das Muster mit M1Lp und M1Rp Zunahmen gestrickt. Wer das vermeiden möchte, dem raten wir, erst mal den Pullover zu stricken.

Die Jacke braucht etwas mehr Material aufgrund der Knopfleiste und des kleinen Musters daneben. Unsere rote Jacke ist Größe 40 und es reichten uns 3 Stränge. Es blieb allerdings nur sehr wenig Restwolle übrig. Um auf Nummer sicher zu gehen empfehlen wir 4 Stränge.
