This shawl is designed to be knit in any size yarn you have available. Fingering weight yarn (550 yrds) give you a 17.5” long shawl, worsted weight yarn (1,000 yrds) will yield a 26.5” long shawl.
The short row construction technique gives you a shawl that will sit comfortably on your shoulders with minimum fuss. The side lace edging is knitted on as you go, with the top lace edge is used to bind off your stitches.
