I started creating my Fabric Revival blankets in 2020 as a way to make unique yarn and clean out my closet of old linens. There were so many rabbit holes I went down learning about textiles, and where they end up at the end of their life. It soon became an environmental justice passion project as I learned about the multitude of textiles that enter the waste stream annually.
In a flash, I had multiple friends asking if I wanted more linens to use for blankets. It’s been so rewarding to see them turned into new weighted blankets that are well-loved.

Materials used:
US 17 circular needles with a 60” cable
Any and all rescued bedsheets (fitted and flat both work!), pillowcases, and other linens on hand
Yarn needle for weaving in ends
Scissors
