The Fault in Our Soap
This is a quick, fun little knit that’s insanely useful and practical. The pouches make great, cheap (only $1!) little gifts for holidays, birthdays, house-warmings… the gift-giving opportunities are endless. The cotton yarn is sturdy and does well in water. I designed these pouches to be used to hold the left-over remnants of bars of soap. The seed stitch pattern creates a gentle grainy texture that works great as a loofa. The large size could fit a regular-sized bar of soap.
Finished item dimensions: 5.5” x 3.5”, 7” circumference 19” cord
The pattern was written to be easy for knitters of all skill levels. As long as you can knit, purl, and aren’t afraid to knit in the round, you should have no problem making this pouch.
