Children always seem to grow too fast. Of course, all talk aside, that’s actually what we want! But you, the knitter, do spend a lot of time for what seems like a very few wearings of the sweaters. This sweater provides at least a bit of a solution.

Kids seem to grow up more than out. So we’ve found tricks to shorten the hem and sleeves, and then let them out when it’s time. Perhaps the child will get another few wearings out of this garment!

The pattern is written for almost any gauge: 7, 6, 5.5, 5., 4.5, and 3.5 stitches per inch.
