This is a variation on the PussyHat for the upcoming Women’s March -- short notice, I realize. The size here is given for a toddler/child sized hat, as the design seemed fitting for a young one, and I have a pregnant friend with an older child for whom the sample hat is destined. It should be fairly easy to size it up for grown-ups who want it for themselves;-) When I get a minute, I’ll do that for you. For now, however, here is the child’s version.

Needles: US 5, or size to give you gauge
Yarn: any sport-weight will work (switching to worsted weight and adding a repeat or two of ribbing will most likely give you an adult size hat)
Notions: two beads of a suitable eye color for the Owl, 8-aught size
