The Queen is Dead
Inspired by Mary Margaret, or ‘Snow’ on Once Upon a Time I was compelled to recreate the gorgeous sparkling scarf seen in “The Queen is Dead” episode that originally aired on 3.10.13. MM’s version in the show was bulky and made from a yarn that was twisted with sparkle, for an added touch of magic.
The scarf has the option and instructions to create a cowl as well, however I was informed that on the OUAT episode that it is, in fact, a scarf. I have no affiliation with ABC or OUAT and there is no copyright infringement intended as this is my own replica designed by myself.
There are two versions available, in worsted or bulky weight yarns.
You will need:
- 500-600 yards of worsted / 700-800 yards of bulky weight yarn
- US sz 8 / US sz 10 straight or circular needles
- darning or yarn needle
- cable needle
