This slouchy seed stitch beanie is the perfect winter accessory! It’s knit in one piece without any seaming, and was specifically designed as a first project for knitters who are new to knitting in the round. For more advanced knitters, it’s an awesome quick knit.

The suggested yarn is from We Are Knitters, and it uses less than one ball. If you wish to substitute the yarn it’s very straightforward, any bulky weight wool yarn that knits up to the correct tension will work.

The pattern should fit most adult heads - unstretched, the band measures 25cm/9.5”, and it stretches out to 35cm/13”.

This beanie has a matching scarf pattern. If you knit the beanie first, you can use the leftover yarn to make the scarf a little longer.
