This pattern is based on Penelope Shawl by Carolyn Christmas, which you also find here on Ravelry.

You can use any yarn you want, just addapt hook size according to yarn, and make sure the hook is big enough to create drapy fabric.

You make the shawl as small or big as you want, just stop crocheting when you have desired size.

This is an easy pattern suitable for beginners as well as advanced crocheters.

I think it is extra stunning in colour gradient yarn, but would probably be fab in one colour as well.
