I’ve tired of trying to find a hoodie that isn’t a pain to crochet up and that isn’t crocheted as a block and then sewn together. My kids aren’t square!

Here are my instructions (triple tested) for how to create an EASY hoodie, crocheted in one piece with optional finishing techniques, embellishments and many, many suggestions for how to customize the pattern! The name speaks for itself! Use it for a Halloween costume base as I did - or go WILD! Create your own stripe pattern, crochet appliques or even fashion one after your kiddo’s favorite character!

Sizes up to 18 months can be crocheted with ONE SKEIN if you use scraps to finish the trim!

The list of materials needed are:
Crochet Hook - J/10 (6.0 MM)
Worsted Weight Yarn in your choice of colors
Blunt, Large Eye Yarn Needle
Basic Crochet Knowledge
16” - 24” JACKET Zipper in matching color (optional)
length of zipper dependent on length of finished hoodie
Sewing Needle and Thread in matching color (optional)

NOTE: I haven’t tried this yet, but I’m sure you could create a larger size by using this pattern, a bulkier yarn and a larger hook. f you do try that I’d love to hear how it went for you!
