This is my PATTERN for a crocheted alligator blanket. Both adult and child sizes are included.

This soft and warm blanket cocoons around your calves and feet, but lies flat across the rest of your body.

I used Lion Brand, Homespun Thick and Quick in Herb Garden (green) or Dove (white) 4 skeins for child and 5 skeins for adult

Gauge is about 6 rows to 3 1/2 inches and about 6 stitches to 3 1/2 inches using my 12mm “P” hook. Check your gauge.
