Tindra Herringbone Scarf
The cabled tiles that make up this vibrant scarf are embellished with knitted Xs and Os,symbolizing hugs and kisses. While the scarf would be beautiful knit in one color, I wanted to emphasize the herringbone texture created from the unique configuration of the tiles by using two
shades of yellow. You might assume that the motif pieces are knit separately and sewn together, especially because they are knit in two separate colors—not so! Each new tile begins by picking up and knitting into the previous tile and, on the interior edge, joining as you go on every other row.
