Tipsy Granny Square
The idea for the Tipsy Granny Square is to crochet with 2 different colors alternating back and forth with the second color filling in the gaps in a traditional granny square. The Tipsy Granny Square is reversible, because of the way the square is worked it leaves two unique patterns on both the front and back.
I used both sport weight and worsted weight and both worked up well. I also used different hooks to test the pattern and all turned out great. Use what hook you feel comfortable with between a “C” hook to an “I” hook”. (not sure how it will look if you use a really large hook).
I really hope everyone enjoys this new “twist” to the traditional granny square.
Please do not sell this pattern, but feel free to sell your items made from it, I do ask for you to give credit to the designer. Thank you and Enjoy!
