This pattern is sold in the Pinwheel Hat Pattern Ebook with my ‘Pinwheel Sun Hat’ pattern (both the 8ply or DK version and the 10ply or Worsted version).

This hat is knit in the round from the top down. It was designed to co-ordinate with the ‘Pinwheel Sweater for children’.

I have written the pattern for normal DK (8ply) gauge and have included instructions on how to custom fit the beanie for your own gauge and head circumference measurement. A variety of different weight yarns could be used, but DK (8ply) to Bulky (12ly) would probably give the best effect.
