This hat was designed to use up left overs and to go with a pair of baby socks and mittens I had knit out of the same yarn. The yardage is approximate as I’m really not sure how much was in the left over ball of sock yarn I had. If you want a bigger size just continue in increases until you have the desired number of stitches or use larger yarn and needles.
