My crochet Top Hat Fascinator requires approx. 30 grams of James C. Brett Marble chunky yarn. Other chunky yarns can also be used, but you may find that you require a little more yarn, and the finished item may also be a slightly different size.

A very small quantity of 4ply yarn is required for the spiral flower decoration.

You will need ribbon, a button, and either 2 hair clips, a comb, or an Alice band to complete this project.

The third image shows the fascinator made using Stylecraft Harlequin chunky. It is a little larger, and heavier than the James C. Brett marble chunky.
