This cowl takes advantage of its moebius construction to show both sides of a fpdc (front post double crochet) fabric - texture plus! You start with a foundation that is the length you want, twist and join, then work fpdc stitches in joined (but not turned) rounds. Keep going until you get the size you want…no swatching!
I like to use a squishy (or “lofty”) yarn, such as Vanna’s Choice, and a hook that is large enough to maintain the loft. Works equally well with worsted or chunky yarn. You can ususally get away with one skein, but may need a bit more.
Easy, fun, and warm!
