Materials:

• DK weight yarn in yellow and glow-in-the-dark. I used about 100yds (25g) of the yellow from Lion Brand Mandala in the “Gnome” colorway and 7yds (20g) of Lion Brand DIY Glow in “natural.”
• Yarn scrap in black for embroidery
• Acrylic felt scrap in black for detail
• 2 black safety eyes (8mm)
• Sewing thread to match each yarn (yellow, white)
• Scissors
• Polyfill stuffing
• Fabric or tacky glue
• Crochet hook for firm gauge with desired yarn, I used 2.35mm
• Tapestry needle sized to yarn
• Sewing needle for thread
• Optional: packaging plastic for firm base

Gauge:
My finished barrel is about 4 inches tall and 3 inches across. What matters is that you are able to get a tight, firm gauge with your choice of yarn and hook.
