This is one of those patterns that developed from a sock yarn set I had dyed. Called
snowdrop.

The colours of the yarn reminded me of snowdrops peeping their delicate petals through the first flutter of snow as it settles on the ground. Protected by the fencing and walls of the landscape from the strong biting breeze in January.

An intuitive easy to follow pattern was born whilst thinking of the trellis fencing in most gardens surrounding beautiful Dartmoor close to where I live.

I choose to use the afterthought heel on my patterns, if you are unfamiliar there is a great resource which can be found on the Knitgirllls website Here or replace with your chosen heel.

The texture will work with most yarns, and as with most sock patterns finding the fabric you like for your individual preference may see you needing to go up or down a needle size.
I hope you enjoy knitting them as much as I did.
