This pattern is the March installment of the Malabrigo Projects Club of Eat.Sleep.Knit.

Trifecta combines three distinct lace patterns into one complete scarf. The warm cognac color of the Malabrigo lace reminded me of horses, specifically fast horses. Perhaps a lady might wear such a lace scarf during a day at the races, striking her own trifecta of sophistication, style and simple beauty.

The pattern is available only from Eat.Sleep.Knit.

NOTE: Version 1 of this pattern had an error in the “Derby Lace B” section. The lace should be in stockinette, not garter. Version 2 has this corrected.
